Vanpooling is economical and easy and a great commute alternative!
A vanpool is made up of seven to fifteen commuters
who live and work near each other and who share approximately
the same work hours. Triangle Transit provides the van, pays
for gas and insurance, and arranges, oversees and pays
for all maintenance. Riders simply pay a low monthly
fare based on round-trip mileage.
Vanpools are for commutes that are greater than 20 miles round-trip. One leg of the vanpool's trip must begin or end in Wake,
Durham, or Orange counties.
