TTA's Transit Design Game
Feb 28, 2007
Be a part of TTA's Transit Design Process! From February 16 - 28, 2007, TTA will be asking the local community for input on prioritizing future improvements to transit vehicles, bus stops, and other amenities online at www.RideTTA.org/Priorities.
TTA employees will also pass out paper surveys on buses, and visit public locations such as Fayetteville St. in Raleigh, American Tobacco Campus in Durham, the Cary Train Station and Franklin St. in Chapel Hill during the week of February 19 - 23, 2007.
Using a list of improvements gathered from public input the agency has sought during the last 6 months, the online survey will focus on prioritizing these amenities within budgetary restraints. Survey respondents will be asked to "spend" a budget based on real world costs on a combination of bus shelters, bike racks, lighting, signage, alternative fuels, and other options without going over budget. The results of this survey will be used to make future prioritizations at TTA.
